Choosing a text editor

I've been doing various coding assignments for the past few years while working on my Computer Science degree. One thing I have learned is that most Integrated Development Environments (IDEs, which all include text editors) have the same basic functions. Just like different programming languages and development strategies, I'm happy to use whatever will get the job done right (and hopefully get me paid, heh).

For this assignment, I downloaded VIM, because I was warned it might be too hard, and I also downloaded notepad++. Both worked just fine but I think I'll stick with VIM for now, at least until I find out what that warning was all about ;)

Web Making 101

I'm starting this blog to chronicle my Web Making 101 journey at P2PU.com since that is the first requirement of the class.

I'm taking this class to get some practical experience in "Web Making". I'm a senior working on my BS in CS and I'm looking for a way to add practical and demonstrable experience to all of the great theory and concept classes I have been taking. I have taken the majority of my classes online and I'm a great believer in social learning.
